The Seattle Department of Transportation reports that construction work will begin tomorrow, Monday, June 15, on street improvements on Boylston Avenue E. The project details:
- The project includes a curb bulb and sidewalk improvements on Boylston Avenue East between East Newton and East Boston streets, and at the corner of East Newton Street and Boylston Avenue East.
- A traffic flagger will assist drivers through the intersection.
- Sidewalks will be closed on the western side of Boylston Avenue between East Boston and East Lynn streets, and also on the western side at East Howe Street. Pedestrians will cross at East Blaine Street.
- Construction will run from Monday to Friday, June 26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. Sidewalks will remain closed overnight.
