The other day coming home this kitty ran out from under a car after me meowing loudly. It is very sweet and friendly neutered male, which leads me to believe it was once domesticated but the poor thing is a bag of bones. The shelter recommended I not bring it in for fear of it actually being someones super skinny cat so I let it be but it's been a few days, it's still greeting me every time I leave the house and I'm pretty certain it has no home.

I plan to take it in today to see if it's chipped but if its not (per the lady at the shelter) the likelihood of a cat being picked up from the shelter is small... So I thought I'd put my feelers out just in case, does anyone recognize this cute kitty? It is currently residing in the alley by Boylston & Louisa in Eastlake.
